Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Before

After

Surgeon's Notes:   This woman is in her late thirties and has had problems with her weight ever since having children. She is lucky not to have had scars from c-section, but she has developed stretch marks in her lower abdomen and a large bulging pot in her belly. During surgery the muscle was tightened to reshape her abdominal wall. Approximately 4 lbs of skin and fat were removed from the abdominal area as the skin was tightened. Notice that in the post-op photo, the entire abdomen is completely reshaped.

Surgeon's Notes:  This woman is in her late twenties. She used to have a model like figure and wanted this to return. After having children she developed a small bulge in her lower abdomen that she could not loose no matter how much she exercised. This is due to the spreading apart of her abdominal rectus muscle during pregnancy. After the surgery, her abdomen has returned to it's flat tight contour, her skin is tightened and we are starting to see her abdominal muscles again.

Surgeon's Notes:   This third woman has had an excessive amount of weight loss through diet and exercise. Due to the weight loss she required three surgeries to improve her body contour. She required a breast lift, tummy tuck and thigh lift. Due to financing difficulties this patient could only afford one surgery at a time. She elected to perform the tummy tuck first. Approximately 4lbs of skin and fat were removed after tightening the abdominal muscles. The result shown is 8 months after surgery followed by exercise.
