The Blue Water Surgical Centre Ltd. is a fully accredited level III surgical centre with operating rooms which have been in existence for over 12 years. Dr. Kaila has been a director for the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (CAAASF) for a number of years. His mandate within this nationwide organization is to promote safe patient care within private surgical centres. He has been involved in policy creation to ensure that patient safety is maintained. He has acted as an inspector for surgical clinics across Canada, inspecting and certifying them for patient safety and quality.

Plastic Surgeon
Dr. S. Kaila M.D., F.R.C.S.C. is the director of the Blue Water Surgical Centre Ltd. He has completed his undergraduate training at the University of Toronto, his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario, and his plastic surgery residency at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Kaila is a board certified plastic surgeon, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has also spent time furthering his plastic surgery training and experience in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Kaila is an active member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and in keeping with the aesthetic portion of his practice, Dr. Kaila has also been an official judge for the Miss Canada Universe Pageant. Despite Dr. Kaila’s numerous academic, scholastic and scientific achievements, he has also been an avid artist. The Blue Water Surgical Centre abounds with the artistic creations of Dr. Kaila. In essence, Dr. Kaila represents a unique balance of art and science rarely found in the practice today.
